Versaterm is pleased to announce that the Queen Creek Police Department will be implementing the cloud-based version of Versaterm Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD). The agency is a brand-new municipal law enforcement agency with approximately 71 employees. They plan to add Versaterm Records Management System (RMS), also cloud-based, and deploy all our mobile solutions to their police force by Q1 2022.
Cloud technology has matured in the private sector and has become common place. Adoption in the public sector has been accelerating in recent years as agencies replace legacy systems and embrace the future-proof platforms. Public safety agencies can benefit by migrating to these software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions in preparation for implementing the Next Generation 9-1-1 (NG9-1-1) systems.
Versaterm offers cloud-optionality for its enterprise systems which offers flexibility to its partners. There is no difference in functionality and user experience between an on-premises or online installation. However, the solutions are purpose-built to harness the full range of advantages provided by the cloud platform. The Software-as-a-Service model allows the agency to enjoy frequent product updates and enhancements as part of their subscription. These scheduled upgrades are delivered by Versaterm’s agile development and quick deployment with minimal to no disruption to operations.

The community was incorporated in 1989 and was founded on a deep-rooted history in agriculture. The town’s population has boomed since becoming incorporated and this is projected to continue over the next decade. In March 2020, town council approved establishing their own municipal police department.
We look forward to working with Queen Creek and Chief Randy Brice, who was sworn in as the first Chief of Police in December, as they embark on this exciting new chapter in the town’s
