The Versaterm 1 in 10 initiative is a program that allows all employees open time to explore innovative ways to benefit Versaterm and our clients.
The goals of this initiative are as follows:
Add value either directly or indirectly to our clients
Increase innovation in our products, processes, and operations
Promote communication among and across all employee teams, groups and boundaries
Promote learning, creativity and personal growth
The framework of this program is purposely very open. Ideally, it includes the fewest number of rules or policies required to foster innovation.
Initially, it is aimed to allow each and all employees one open day every two weeks (1 in 10) to explore self-directed ideas that they feel may benefit Versaterm and our clients.
The projects you select to work on are up to you. The expectation is that through the open communication of ideas we can all help to determine the value and validity of these open projects.
Your role in selecting and working on these project is to communicate what you are working on to your peers and teammates to validate its value.
Each of us will play a critical role in helping each other determine where and on what to spend our time.
The hope is that this initiative will grow and foster innovation based on our ability to make it meaningful to the success of Versaterm.
