Versaterm, a global public safety technology company, today announced the winners of its 2026 Versaterm Innovation Award. Now in its 15th year, the annual program recognizes clients across law enforcement, fire, forensics, emergency communications and other government agencies who are applying Versaterm’s solutions in new, impactful ways that make a difference for their teams and the communities they serve.
This year’s submissions reflected a broad range of challenges and disciplines. Their depth underscores how public safety organizations of all types find new value in technology they already have. Versaterm thanks all the agencies that entered this year.

All award recipients are invited to present their projects at the 2026 Versaterm Users Conference, taking place Sept. 28–Oct. 1 in Ottawa, Ontario. The conference brings together public safety professionals for training, peer exchange and product sessions.
The Versaterm Innovation Award program began in 2012 to highlight the challenges public safety organizations face, and the creative ways they solve them. These entries over the past 15 years are a record of adaptation, problem-solving and pushing the boundaries of what technology can do. It is a body of work representing a knowledge base that benefits the entire industry.
