The basic function of the Platform Support Specialist is to install and troubleshoot JusticeTrax software in customer and internal environments, either remotely or on-site. The Platform Support Specialist also functions as 2nd Tier support for technical issues reported by customers.


Along with the required credentials you thrive in a dynamic, collaborative work environment. You have experience in Forensic or Law Enforcement. You are a master at balancing multiple priorities and are naturally focused on providing exceptional levels of client service and being able to communicate openly with team members. Microsoft Certified Solution Developer or Microsoft Certified Professional is an asset.


  • Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, Windows Server, and IIS

  • Familiarity with the virtual system setup and configuration (e.g., Hyper-V, VMware)

  • IIS and web product installation and troubleshooting experience

  • Strong technical background is necessary

  • Practical networking experience (Microsoft Certifications preferred)

  • Working knowledge of Crystal Reports, and proficiency with Crystal Reports preferred

  • At least two years of experience dealing directly with customers and a proven track record of increasing responsibility

  • At least two years’ computer industry work experience, and telephone technical support or help desk are required. Network support and database experience preferred

  • Must be a US citizen and either possess or be able to obtain a security clearance; must be able to pass a background check and drug screening

  • Accountability for actions and results

  • Ability to research solutions via company documentation, the Internet, and other applicable

  • Ability to clearly document difficult technical concepts, communicate in a clear and structured manner, and display excellent listening and questioning skills
