The basic function of the Application Support Specialist is to be a JusticeTrax product knowledge expert that provides customer application support, technical troubleshooting, and product testing knowledge of all JusticeTrax products.


Along with the required credentials you thrive in a dynamic, collaborative work environment. You have experience in Forensic or Law Enforcement. You are the company product feedback champion, collect insights from customers, identify patterns and themes and collaborate directly with Marketing and Product Management. You constantly look for opportunities where users can integrate a specific product into their workflow, therefore deepening product engagement by growing their business and adding value. You are able to gain the trust and confidence of customers as you offer guidance, knowledge, and product tips.


  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Forensic field

  • Experience in a customer service or help desk environment

  • Experience using JusticeTrax products is preferred

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

  • Must be a US citizen and possess or be able to obtain a security clearance

  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening


  • Ability to clearly document product functionality and difficult technical concepts

  • Ability to personally achieve results, take ownership and accept responsibility for work

  • Communicate in a clear and structured way;  possess good questioning and listening skills

  • Superb telephone and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to research solutions via company documentation and the Internet

  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and time management skills

  • Aptitude for developing skills in existing and new products

  • An eagerness to learn and stay up-to-date with new technologies
