QUALIFICATIONS​

• Computer science degree or equivalent

• Previous relevant experience; however, recent graduates are also welcome to apply.

• Desired Technical Skills:

• Strong software development skills using programming languages such as C#, Java, C/C++

• Experience with .NET (WPF, Windows Forms)

• Experience with web technologies such as HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, jQuery, Bootstrap

• Experience with mobile development (Cordova, WebSockets)

• Exposure to XML, XSL, JSON, Web Services (REST, WSDL), and other leading-edge inter-system collaboration techniques

• Understanding of client/server applications and experience with WebSocket/socket/HTTP/SSL communications

• Exposure to map-oriented spatial presentation tools and their interface to other development tools (ESRI, Google Maps)

• Experience working with a variety of Relational DBs such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, IBM IDS (formerly Informix), or other large-scale RDBMS

• Familiarity with Unix or Linux, as well as Windows

• Experience working with no-SQL databases or search engines such as Redis or ElasticSearch.
