Internet-enabled deployment: FDM uses a multi-tiered software architecture including their own middle-tier component, the FDM E-Business Server. FDMeBiz makes it easy and cost-effective for departments to deploy the system over the Internet to a widely distributed user group. For example, fire stations throughout a city can connect to the central database using their standard Internet connections.
