Sacramento Sheriff's Department Selects Versaterm
March, 2009
The Sacramento Sheriff's Department (SSD) has selected Versaterm to supply an integrated CAD/Mobile computer system. The SSD is replacing their home-grown CAD with a system that provides a broad spectrum of functionality incorporating Automatic Vehicle Location (AVL) technology, the Versadex Crime Analysis Package (VCAP) as well as interfaces to a variety of external systems supporting CLETS, County CJIS and RMS query capability. PIP Upgrades to Version 3.3
October, 2008

We are pleased to announce that the RCMP PIP (Police Information Portal) has now upgraded from version 3.1 to version 3.3. This new version implements the CPSIN-based web services interface that will enable wider connectivity for other RMS vendors (Waterloo Regional Police has begun to implement to the interface). Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office Kicks off MDT/MRE Pilot Project

In early May the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office began a pilot of MDT 7.1 and MRE 6.3. The MDT portion of the pilot includes deploying AVL over their high-speed data network. Read more... (189 KB)

Santa Barbara Police Department Live with RMS
May, 2008

Versaterm is pleased to announce that the Santa Barbara Police Department went into production with the Versadex Records Management System on May 3rd, 2008. Ottawa Fire Service Pilot New Fire MDT
April, 2008

Ottawa Fire Services has enabled AVL/GPS which they are currently piloting along with the new Fire MDT. They are using Panasonic Toughbooks, and communicate across the Telus EVDO wireless data network (the same network used by Police) to the RFServer located at Police Headquarters - which is where the central CAD is also housed. York Region FireCAD Project
April, 2008

Durham Regional Police Live with e-Ticketing by Christine Robson
