Thank you Tampa!
Yo Ho Ho and three cheers to the Tampa 2011 Versadex Users' Conference Committee for putting on a great conference. The 'Discover No Limits' theme was evident throughout the program. From the opening morning session with Tampa Bay Lightning's Tod Leiweke as key note speaker and Chief Jane Castor's informative session on crime reduction philosophy to the closing night's Busch Gardens roller coaster extravaganza, the conference was packed with opportunities for the delegates to share new ideas and best practices.

Thank you to all the users who attended and especially those who offered their time and expertise to present at the sessions and demos, who participated in the workshops, and who exchanged ideas and techniques in the informal get-togethers. You are what make this conference so special.

Navigating Trends in Technology
The Niagara Region is surrounded by water on three sides; Lake Ontario, Lake Erie, and the Niagara River. Navigating the waterways has played an integral role in the economic development of the area and it has also served to promote public safety and reduce crime. As the water is in a constant state of movement, technology is in a constant state of change.

There are important decisions to make and many paths that can be taken. The theme of "Navigating Trends in Technology" is about identifying the nationwide trends of today, but also the direction and role of technology in the delivery of emergency services in the future. How can we take the latest tools and utilize them in our own agency and in doing so, make processes more efficient and effective?
The Versadex 2012 Conference will focus on topics that demonstrate forward thinking and ingenuity. The speakers will be encouraged to share their accomplishments to date, but also their vision for the future.
